WHAT'S YOUR WHY?

A fundamental question resonates in the quest for leadership and organizational excellence: What's your why? This article delves into my mission of educating bilingual students, drawing inspiration from Simon Sinek's call to empower and educate people everywhere, infusing real-world connections into teaching, and translating commitment into action through an innovative proposal for blended learning. This transformative approach aims to elevate the existing curriculum into an engaging online experience, guided by the COVA model, fostering student choice, ownership, voice, and authenticity. Join me on this journey as I unveil the 'why,' 'how,' and 'what' behind this initiative, dedicated to empowering minds for a brighter future.
To revolutionize traditional education, fostering a culture of creativity and lifelong learning, empowering students to excel in an ever-changing world.
I am creating adaptable learning spaces, empowering student agency, and implementing innovative teaching approaches, including blended learning with COVA frameworks.
I am developing bilingual students' empowerment through transformative education, creating confident learners with a lifelong love of learning in the digital world.
How can these three questions touch the heart, create urgency, and reduce complacency?
Reflect on Kotter's change videos, Leading Change: Establish a Sense of Urgency https://youtu.be/2Yfrj2Y9IlI and The Heart of Change https://youtu.be/1NKti9MyAAw, see how the Why statement emotionally engages stakeholders and urges immediate action. The Why emphasizes education's transformative mission, connecting emotionally. The How ensures that innovative teaching and adaptable spaces will urgently bring this vision to life. The tangible proof, or What, is empowered bilingual students. Aligning these statements with Kotter's principles creates a solid call to action, reducing complacency and inspiring stakeholders to join the transformative journey. Students are well-prepared for future complexities. I strive to diminish complacency and inspire a collective commitment to meaningful educational change through this approach.
