   My goal in the 2024-2025 school year is to improve the learning experience of sixth-grade students by introducing an engaging online Spanish course.

  • I will carefully monitor the online class, observing its strengths and improvement areas, assessing student participation levels, and identifying areas where they may face challenges. These insights will guide enhancements to the online course.

  • I will pay attention to moments that can impact how students act. It could be specific lessons or activities that students connect with, making them more motivated to join in. Understanding and using these moments will make learning more effective.

   I plan to use these strategies to learn essential behaviors that make the online Spanish course successful. This knowledge will help me make changes to ensure students are more engaged, understand Spanish better, and are overall satisfied with their learning experience.

Personal Motivation:

   Take advantage of student motivation by highlighting the benefits of learning Spanish online, emphasizing how it aligns with their interests and future goals. I will show success stories of students who have excelled in similar courses.

SOCIAL

Social Motivation:

   Harness social motivation by fostering a sense of community among students. Encourage peer support and collaboration within the online learning environment. We highlight shared goals and achievements, creating positive social influence for continued engagement.

STRUCTURAL

Structural Motivation:

  Create structural motivation through recognition and rewards. Establish a system that acknowledges student achievements through badges, certificates, or other incentives. Recognition and rewards can enhance motivation by recognizing and reinforcing positive behaviors.

ABILITY

Personal Ability:

   Improve personal capacity by providing resources and support, offering accessible learning materials, interactive tools, and additional help as a student requests. Making sure students feel safe navigating and succeeding in the online Spanish course.

Social Ability:

  Support social capacity by facilitating communication and interaction, implementing forums, discussion groups, or collaborative projects where students can interact with each other. Foster a supportive online community that enhances the social aspect of learning.

Structural Ability:

  Strengthen structural capacity by optimizing the online learning platform. Ensure the course structure is easy to use, intuitive, and accessible. Provide clear instructions, resources, and a well-organized curriculum to help students navigate the online environment.

   To conclude, I aspire to the success of the online Spanish course by strategically integrating these sources of influence, positively impacting and acknowledging that we embark on a journey of constant growth. We are all learners, and my role will be that of a learning facilitator. As change agents, we must lead by example, being the source of the changes we seek.
